Beer of the Week Craft Beer Review: Punk IPA from Brewdog

Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's beer of the week craft beer review is for Punk IPA from Brewdog.

Yes folks it's Friday and that means it is time for Beer Of The Week.

And we have a surprise contender! Punk IPA: a BOTTLED beer from BrewDog! I know I don't usually do bottled beer but last weekend was SUCH a bust. Spent most of the weekend in bed with a bad cold.

Which meant I got beer in instead of only going out for it.

This was a delightfully hoppy and spicy pale ale. Full of big citrusy flavours. It comes in the 330 ml which is unusual for bottled real ale but for little ol' me 330 is the perfect size (if I'm not at the pub that is). I picked it up at my local grocery store which has a very good selection of bottled craft beer and this is a new one.

Will definitely be getting it in again.

Like I said yesterday, If I drank more beer and not in pubs then I would probably do two posts a day and have two BOTW. One for bottled and one for draft. There are some super beers to be had in bottles.

The Beer in Review is a blog about beer. Mostly British beer because that is where I live. I post a review every week day. Make sure you check in on Friday which is when I reveal BEER. OF THE. WEEK! You can contact me with comments and questions on twitter or facebook.
