Craft Beer Review: January's Ale from Wychwood

Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and we are still working our way through seasonal puns here on The Beer in Review. Today's craft beer review is for January's Ale from Wychwood.

I'm a sucker for a good beer pun so I thought I would brighten up your hump day with this one from Whychwood: January's Ale

See what they did there? Yes Whychwood. They of Hobgoblin fame. I don't see a lot of them on draft in my area but their bottled beer is ubiquitous. I especially enjoyed their new gold version of Hobgoblin.

This was a dark gold hoppy bitter which was good enough to stick to for two pints worth. Again, like the rest of the beers this week, I don't have any particular complaint to make. It was a good beer but there are lots of good beers out there without much to set them apart.

It was definitely the hoppiest draft beer of the week and had the best name for sure. Hop-fully this funny pump clip will help you hop over hump day.

See what I did there? Hop? Hope? HOPfully… get it?

The Beer in Review is a blog about beer. Mostly British beer because that is where I live. I post a review every week day. Make sure you check in on Friday which is when I reveal BEER. OF THE. WEEK! You can contact me with comments and questions on twitter or facebook.
