Beer of the Week: Vale Ale from Three Castles Brewery

Another week, another five craft beers/real ales reviewed! Culminating on Friday with BEER. OF THE. WEEK. Follow me to find out what it is!

Happy Friday Hop Heads! It's what you have been waiting for all week: even-star's BEER. OF THE. WEEK.

And the winner for this week is Vale Ale from Three Castles. You might remember that last week their Try Me was BotW runner up. A very different and very delicious beer from them this week.

Vale ale is a dark gold bitter that is a short medium sweet up front and finishes with bitter almond, peaches, and soft pear. More fruity than aromatic but there might be a little bit of musky thyme in there somewhere. A really solid and pleasing profile.

It is a lovely velvety ale and I simply could not deny Three Castles top place this week. That is two excellent beers in a row from them.

I am even-star and this is The Review in Beer. I post craft beer reviews usually five days a week. Be sure to check in on Fridays when I reveal the BEER. OF THE. WEEK.
