Beer Review: Hullabaloo from Loddon

Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and you are reading The Beer in Review. Today's review is Hullabaloo from Loddon.

An unusual weekend for beer in that I didn't have one that was totally awful. They were all pretty good. But likewise none of them really blew me away. This being a bank holiday, and therefore a day on which beer consumption is acceptable, that might change later this afternoon but for now let's get on with the matter in hand which is a review for Hullabaloo from Loddon Brewery.

Yes that is LODdon. Not LONdon. In case you were wondering why a brewery who, according to their pump clip, is located in Oxfordshire would call themselves London.

This was a gold/amber bitter with a butter shortbread flavour. Similar to last week's Magic Sponge but less butterscotch and more herbal. There was a very pleasant apricot finish.

I am not familiar with Loddon this being the first beer I have had from them. They sell in bottles as well as on draft. Not spectacular beer and not bad either. A solid pint and not sweet which I liked as well.

The Beer in Review is a blog about beer. Mostly British beer because that is where I live. I post a review every week day. Make sure you check in on Friday which is when I reveal BEER. OF THE. WEEK!
