Craft Beer Review: Whatever You Want from The Griffin Inn

Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's craft beer review is for Whatever You Want from The Griffin Inn.

A very interesting beer to see on down in our neck of the woods because the beer is made at a pub (The Griffin Inn) in Warwickshire. It is unusual for such a concern to supply other pubs in their own area let alone one that is at the other end of the country.

Whatever You Want was a medium brown bitter ale. Smokey with strong toffee malts giving it some sweetness like Turkish coffee and fruityness of strawberry and peach. A very strong bitterness from green tobacco and bitter almond.

Very bold strong flavours here with a pleasing complexity from start to finish.

The Beer in Review is a blog about beer. Mostly British beer because that is where I live. I post a review every week day. Make sure you check in on Friday which is when I reveal BEER. OF THE. WEEK! You can contact me with comments and questions on twitter or facebook.
