Craft Beer Review: Norsey Gold from Billericay Brewing Company

Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's craft beer review is for Norsey Gold from Billericay Brewing Company.

Well this was exciting. I finally got to try a Billericay Brewing Company beer. They haven't been around long and I have watched their progress. They are an Essex craft brewery.

Norsey Gold was indeed gold. It was fairly bitter, floral and fragrant, and with piney resinous waft. There was also a bit of apple and rose hip tartness and an earthy geranium bitterness.

It is really odd that BBC is only about 15-20 miles away, still in Essex, but I have never seen them on tap in any of our locals until now. We will get beers from Brentwood, which is about the same distance away in the same direction, and beer from the other side of the country, but it's taken Billericay a good few years to finally cross the A13! Hope to see them on more often.

The Beer in Review is a blog about beer. Mostly British beer because that is where I live. I post a review every week day. Make sure you check in on Friday which is when I reveal BEER. OF THE. WEEK! You can contact me with comments and questions on twitter or facebook.
