County Durham Craft Beer Review: India Pale Ale from Sonnet 43 Brew House

Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's County Durham craft beer review is for India Pale Ale from Sonnet 43 Brew House

A brand new beer from a brand new brewery. Like not one that has been around for years that I have never tried before but one that very few people have tried before because they haven't been around very long at all. And from far afield for an Essex pub. So exciting!

Sonnet IPA was a clear light orange and fairly sweet caramel and cotton candy flavours. This made it malty and sweet up front with some robust hoppy fruitiness with a brief finish of black coffee bitterness. A quaffable pint in contrast to the Mosaic Pale Ale that was on at the same time that evening.

The Beer in Review is a blog about beer. Mostly British beer because that is where I live. I post a review every week day. Make sure you check in on Friday which is when I reveal BEER. OF THE. WEEK! You can contact me with comments and questions on twitter or facebook.
