Essex Craft Beer Review: Summertime from Wibblers Brewery

Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's Essex craft beer review is for Summertime name from Wibblers Brewery.

OMG I can't even remember the last time I had a Wibblers beer. Which is weird because they are an Essex brewery (from the outrageously romatically named village of Mayland) and Essex pubs, thems that serves the craft beers anyways, are generally really good at stocking Essex breweries. This was another beer from our outing to The Rising Sun in Stanford-le-Hope. A lovely pub that serves good craft beers.

Summertime was a cloudy gold bitter and very VERY hoppy citrus. And also a bit toasty. The malts and bitterness of lemon zest was beautifully balanced. A bit like drinking a boozy lemon meringue pie though not as sweet.

The Beer in Review is a blog about beer. Mostly British beer because that is where I live. I post a review every week day. Make sure you check in on Friday which is when I reveal BEER. OF THE. WEEK! You can contact me with comments and questions on twitter or facebook.
