London Craft Beer Review: Lazarus from Truman's

Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's London craft beer review is for Lazarus from Truman's.

Share It!

Lazarus is an apt name for a beer from an East London brewery that literally rose from the dead. It says since 1666 but Truman's 1.0 went bust before being resurrected for the 21st century. I am ending up in London for work more often these days and if we decide to grab a beer after work many City pubs stock Truman's beer. Them being a London brewery.

Lazarus was a very pleasant pint. Cloudy gold hoppy bitter with some citrus and tart apple with a fresh tropical hint of papaya.

The Beer in Review is a blog about beer. Mostly British beer because that is where I live. I post a review every week day. Make sure you check in on Friday which is when I reveal BEER. OF THE. WEEK! You can contact me with comments and questions on twitter or facebook.
