Essex Craft Beer Review: Brentwood Blonde from Brentwood Brewing Company

Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's Essex craft beer review is for Brentwood Blonde from Brentwood Brewing Company.

First just let me say thank you to BBC for not stooping to sexist imagery for their Blonde pump clip.

Unfortunately the pump clip was the only laudable thing about this beer. It is best described by referencing another beer I had this year which was also a Blonde.

Brentwood Blonde was dark gold, kind of musty, malty, tannic, and farm smelly. Basically this is what sadness and despair would taste like if you killed their puppies and stole their ice cream.

Which makes me kind of sad because BBC puts out some solid beers. I especially like their Elephant School brand beers. Don't know what went wrong here!

The Beer in Review is a blog about beer. Mostly British beer because that is where I live. I post a review every week day. Make sure you check in on Friday which is when I reveal BEER. OF THE. WEEK! You can contact me with comments and questions on twitter or facebook.
