Nottinghamshire Craft Beer Review: Lady Matilda from Dukeries

Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's Nottinghamshire craft beer review is for Lady Matilda from Dukeries.

This is the fourth Dukeries beer I've had this year. Never seen them before but, for the most part, I am enjoying their product.

Lady Matilda was a cloudy straw gold bitter. Citrus, lemon, tart, and hoppy but not strongly so. There was something a bit floral in it like Parma violets or rose water. Interesting. Not blow-me-away but decent. I am not sure about the American Pale Ale part. I have had APAs in the USA and they vary. I am not sure what made this an APA. The straw colour maybe.

The Beer in Review is a blog about beer. Mostly British beer because that is where I live. I post a review every week day. Make sure you check in on Friday which is when I reveal BEER. OF THE. WEEK! You can contact me with comments and questions on twitter or facebook.
