Nottinghamshire Craft Beer Review: Lion's Pride from MileStone

Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's Nottinghamshire craft beer review is for Lion's Pride from MileStone Brewing Company.

You may have noticed a sort of THEME in some of the beers of the last few weeks. For some reason craft beer makers MUST reference popular sporting events with special brews. Rugby tends to bring out more than just about any other sport. You get the odd Wimbledon one but the Soccer World Cup doesn't result in as many as you might think in the self proclaimed mother country of that sport.

Lion's Pride was a  dark amber bitter. Nothing remarkable with  butterscotch and some generic fruitiness like fermenting apples. It was crisp and a bit astringent.

The Beer in Review is a blog about beer. Mostly British beer because that is where I live. I post a review every week day. Make sure you check in on Friday which is when I reveal BEER. OF THE. WEEK! You can contact me with comments and questions on twitter or facebook.
