Essex Craft Beer Review: Kings from Mighty Oak

Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's Essex craft beer review is for Kings from Mighty Oak.

So how did it get to be December without me getting to review one of my favourite beers EVER. Kings is one of Mighty Oak's regular brews and I recently entreated them, via twitter, to never ever stop making it.

Kings is a clear gold bitter. Lovely hoppy citrus with a sweet lychee tropical finish. Beautiful lime and grapefruit bite. A gorgeous, juicy, full bodied, quaffable beer. And I can't believe that it hasn't been on the blog yet this year. It is kind of fitting that one of the best beers of ANY year is going to be rounding out the end of this one.

Only a few more days to go Hop Heads and I am at 261 beers. AND there is all last weekend and this weekend to post up yet! Smashed my target. I am not sure if this is something to be proud of or not? That is a lot of beer!

The Beer in Review is a blog about beer. Mostly British beer because that is where I live. I post a review every week day. Make sure you check in on Friday which is when I reveal BEER. OF THE. WEEK! You can contact me with comments and questions on twitter or facebook.
