Essex Craft Beer Review: White Elephant from Elephant School Brewing Company

Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's Essex craft beer review is for White Elephant from Elephant School Brewing Company.

So it has been a while since we've had a beer from Brentwood Brewing Company's experimental brand. And this one, made with coriander of all things, was certainly an experiment.

White Elephant was a bit of a head scratcher. A pale gold clear bitter, it kind of grew on me but initially tasted a bit off. Sweet and flat and strongly floral. Eventually, what I assume was the coriander came through.

Funny how some beers need to GO with something. This beer needed a salty bar snack to bring out all of the flavours and make it taste ok. Not one of their more successful beers for me.

The Beer in Review is a blog about beer. Mostly British beer because that is where I live. I post a review every week day. Make sure you check in on Friday which is when I reveal BEER. OF THE. WEEK! You can contact me with comments and questions on twitter or facebook.
