Kent Craft Beer Review: Cockle Warmer from Whitstable Brewery

Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's Kent craft beer review is for Cockle Warmer from Whitstable Brewery.

Cockle Warmer was a clear dark amber bitter. It was kind of bland. Generic fruityness, quite malty, with a sweetish green like pea shoots.

Not the most impressive beer I've ever had but I love the little town of Whitstable on the east coast of Kent. If you are ever down near Canterbury it's worth a detour. There's a brilliant pub at the bottom of the main drag just before you get to the harbour: The Duke of Cumberland.

The Beer in Review is a blog about beer. Mostly British beer because that is where I live. I post a review every week day. Make sure you check in on Friday which is when I reveal BEER. OF THE. WEEK! You can contact me with comments and questions on twitter or facebook.
