Somerset Craft Beer Review: Tawny Owl from Cotleigh

I can't remember how long it's been since I've had a Tawny Owl! This is one of Cotleigh's standard beers and it always good to see it come around again. It was a cloudy amber bitter. Slightly astringent, bitter but with a malty sweet finish. Apples and peaches with a really good bite.

By the way this is my first blog post with a photo from my new phone. As you can see the colours and clarity are much better! With the lighting in the pub in the evening all of the pump clips were looking orange. Which was a shame because so many of them are little triumphs of branding and design.
