London Craft Beer Review: Davy's Old Wallop from Courage

Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's London craft beer review is for Davy's Old Wallop from Courage (Charles Wells).

So maybe not strictly craft but you can only get Davy's Old Wallop if you visit a Davy's wine bar in London. That gives it a little bit of exclusivity surely!

Old Wallop was a dark copper bitter. Smooth and boozy. Similar to other beers I have had that had rum in them. You can't taste the rum but it gives the beer a certain character. Malty and sweet. Not particularly my thing.

The Beer in Review is a blog about British craft beer and real ale. Keep up with new posts and contact me comments and questions on twitter or facebook. I'd love to hear about your craft beer adventures and recommendations from your home town.
