Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's Irish craft beer review is for Heather IPA from Cloughmore.

So if you are ever in Belfast go to the John Hewitt on a Saturday afternoon. It's cosy, the beer is good, and if you time it right you will be graciously offered a ton of free beer that the beer tours that go there fail to drink. This is how I got to try this particular beer.

Cloghmore IPA was a cloudy dark gold malty bitter. Green tomato leaves, bitter ripe fruitiness, almond/marzipan.

The Beer in Review is a blog about British craft beer and real ale. Keep up with new posts and contact me comments and questions on twitter or facebook. I'd love to hear about your craft beer adventures and recommendations from your home town.
