Sussex Craft Beer Review: Murder of Crows from Kissingate Brewery

Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's Sussex craft beer review is for Murder of Crows from Kissingate Brewery.

Murder of Crows was a dark black thick stout. Like a Turkish coffee with a liquorice twist. And a whopping 10%.

So like I said earlier about the Treacle Tart from Mad Hatter, the Easter weekend was about broadening my beer horizons. And I learned this it is ok to broaden one's horizons but it is always lovely to come home again! Really not my kind of beer.

I am not sure why the liquorice flavours in the two dark beers I had. Maybe just bad luck because I have had similar that were more on the coffee and chocolate side. I didn't get a chance to try a chocolate stout though there were a couple on offer at the Port Street Beer house. I think that would be more my style.
