Yorkshire Craft Beer Review: Rapscallion from Northern Monk Brew Co.

Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's Yorkshire craft beer review is for Rapscallion from Northern Monk Brew Co.

Rapscallion was an orange bitter and you could taste the orange zest in there for sure! But that sweetness was balanced out with a resinous rosemary scent that made if aromatic, astringent, and woody.

So here we are folks. On the home stretch for March beers (yes that is how far behind I am!) and it is a marathon leg. We spent the Easter weekend in Manchester and that town sure does have some fine craft beer drinking establishments.

The Beer in Review is a blog about British craft beer and real ale. Keep up with new posts and contact me comments and questions on twitter or facebook. I'd love to hear about your craft beer adventures and recommendations from your home town.
