Bournemouth Craft Beer Review: Bournemouth Bodger from Bournemouth Brewing Company

Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's Bournemouth craft beer review is for Bournemouth Bodger from Bournemouth Brewing Company.

Bournemouth Bodger was a dark amber bitter. Fruity and fairly sweet. Coffee liqueur, vanilla, cherry, bitter back of mouth, boozy. And there were some interesting bitter dark malts that were almost burnt but not in a bad way. In style we in the even-star family would jokingly refer to as Cajun.

Yet another young start up craft brewery. I am so excited to be seeing some new names recently. Some people might say we are in danger of having a glut in the market. I say when I can have six different beers from six different brewerys every weekend of the year without a repeat in brewery for the whole year, then I will agree that it has got a bit out of hand.

I could not find out at their website what Bodger refers to. If you know please tweet me at the link below.
