Canadian Craft Beer Review: Testify from Amsterdam Brewing Company

Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's Canadian craft beer review is for Testify from Amsterdam Brewing Company.

Testify was a cloudy light yellow bitter. Citrus hops, strong bitter, fruity with apples, lemon, and lime.

This beer didn't have its own mat because it is an Adventure Brew. Like a one off special beer of the month. It is the 3rd in a sampler flight I had from this brewery while I was Toronto.

It was kind of interesting. They had a flights menu where they put together complimentary beers in groups of four. I have only ever had build-your-own flights where you pick three beers and you get a third of a pint each. This pre-built flight was a different idea which worked well because often you will get two beers in a flight that you should just not put together and they kind of ruin each other even though they are good beers.

And with these pre-built flights they even told you what order to drink them in so you didn't have the super dooper hoppy one first and kill your taste buds for the rest.

The Beer in Review is a blog about British craft beer and real ale. Keep up with new posts and contact me comments and questions on twitter or facebook. I'd love to hear about your craft beer adventures and recommendations from your home town.
