Ontario Craft Beer Review: Naughty Neighbour from Nickel Brook Brewing Co.

Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's Ontario craft beer review is for Naughty Neighbour from Nickel Brook Brewing Co.

Naughty Neighbour was a gold bitter. Hoppy and fruity. Lime, pink juicy grapefruit with a bit of mango sweetness. Full flavoured and luscious!

We continue today with my Canadian craft beer odyssey. Nickel Brook, from Burlington, was local to where we were staying. Really liked this beer.

I guess now would be a good time to say a few words about our Local Away from Local. When the Bear and I go away we tend to find a bar, pub, or restaurant in walking distance to our accomodation that we can stroll out to after a hard day of touristing.

Unfortunately, Canada being the size it is, the town was about 4km away from where we were staying. It was a bit of a trek but worth it when we found The Forty pub on Grimsby's Main Street. A relatively new establishment, they have a good selection of local craft beers on tap and some very good food. We only managed the hike a few times!

The Beer in Review is a blog about British craft beer and real ale. Keep up with new posts and contact me comments and questions on twitter or facebook. I'd love to hear about your craft beer adventures and recommendations from your home town.
