Essex Craft Beer Review: Ace from Mighty Oak

Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's Essex craft beer review is for Ace from Mighty Oak.

Share It!

Ace was a red bitter. Full bodied and fruity. All a bit pimms rather appropriately. Malty, strawberry and cucumber. Nice bitter edge, nutty almond and walnut. Floral violet.

This is the first year I have really noticed Wimbeldon specials. You can count on Ashes and Six Nations specials but the tennis, not so much. Did you have a Wimbeldon themed beer this year? Tweet me @even_star.

Not my photo since this was YET ANOTHER festival beer. That is a download from the Might Oak website. And it's been AGES since we had a Mighty Oak beer on. Been missing them!

The Beer in Review is a blog about British craft beer and real ale. Keep up with new posts and contact me comments and questions on twitter or facebook. I'd love to hear about your craft beer adventures and recommendations from your home town.
