Ontario Craft Beer Review: Downhill Pale Ale from Collingwood Brewery

Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's Ontario craft beer review is for Downhill Pale Ale from Collingwood Brewery.

Downhill Pale Ale was a cloudy gold with very light flavours. Definitely citrus, lagerish, aromatic and green. Grassy, faintly floral, orange blossom, and honey but not sweet.

One way in which Canada seems to be strides ahead of the UK in craft beer culture is that you don't have to be at a pub to enjoy a craft beer. You can have one with your meal at just about any regular old restaurant. Your choices will vary from region to region with places favouring their local brew houses. Imagine that!

I had this beer at an amazing place called Ray's Rib House in Leamington Ontario.
