Ontario Craft Beer Review: Hops and Bolts from Mad and Noisy Brewing Company

Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's Ontario craft beer review is for Hops and Bolts from Mad and Noisy Brewing Company.

Hops and Bolts was a very light amber. Green and grassy bitter, very flavourful, fresh and lightly resinous, bitter fruity like unripe peaches.

So what is interesting here is this is the first example I found of a Canadian beer company splitting their brand to put out more interesting beers. Similar to how Brentwood uses their Elephant School brand to create more adventurous brews. Mad and Noisy's parent brand is Creemore Springs Brewing.

The Beer in Review is a blog about British craft beer and real ale. Keep up with new posts and contact me comments and questions on twitter or facebook. I'd love to hear about your craft beer adventures and recommendations from your home town.
