Edinburgh Craft Beer Review: Autumn Red from Caledonian

Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's Edinburgh craft beer review is for Autumn Red from Caledonian.

Autumn Red (another "red" beer!) was actually rather orange or amber. Like autumn in fact. Malty sweet. Kinda musty, sour apples, astringent fruity, walnut.

So compared to Rare Red that I had the day before, this red beer from the same brewer was rather disappointing! Not great but apparently I had the second to last pint out of the barrel so that might have been the problem. Or maybe, compared to the delicious Rare Red the day before, nothing was going to compare favourably!

Also, I was in a bad mood because this was the ONLY new beer on for the first weekend of October. Oh noes!
