Cheshire Craft Beer Review: Santa Claws from Beartown Brewery

Santa Claws from Beartown Brewery craft beer real ale pump clip
Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's Cheshire craft beer review is for Santa Claws from Beartown Brewery.

Santa Claws was a honey colour. And in contrast to Caledonian's Elf Yourself, this was a proper spiced Xmas beer. Cinnamon and nutmeg but also some astringent hoppyness. Some nice orange marmalade bitter. Not something I could drink a lot of but a nice one to sip on Christmas eve.

Also, the perfect storm of expertly executed beer, bear, and Christmas punnage.

The Beer in Review is a blog about British craft beer and real ale. Keep up with new posts and contact me with comments and questions on twitter or YouTube. I'd love to hear about your craft beer adventures and recommendations from your home town.
