Scottish Craft Beer Review: Elf Yourself from Caledonian

Elf Yourself from Caledonian craft beer pump clip
Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's Scottish craft beer review is for Elf Yourself from Caledonian.

Elf Yourself was a brown beer. Sweet caramel and vanilla. Milk Chocolate. Bitter finish like Irish coffee and baileys. I guess that is Christmas-y but the flavours just didn't quite make it over the Festive line.

Seriously. I don't know what has happened to Caledonian this year. Their Halloween beer was mediocre at best and had a terrible tag line that did not make any sense.

And the branding is just as off with this one. Elf Yourself I suppose is meant to stand in for Help Yourself but the pun just doesn't quite make it. It comes off more like Eff Yourself and as Fuck Yourself. Well fuck you too Caledonian. You have disappointed me this year with your weak uninteresting seasonal beers and poorly executed branding.
