Suffolk Craft Beer Review: Might Moose IPA from Greene King

Suffolk Craft Beer Review: Might Moose IPA from Greene King pump clip real ale
Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's Suffolk craft beer review is for Might Moose IPA from Greene King.

Mighty Moose is a gold beer. Very floral aroma. Bright bitter edge of tonic water and a lively effervescence. Juniper, cilantro, and jasmine come through up front. Some savoury flavours from celery and endive. Not a quaffable beer. It is very rich and one to sip rather than gulp.

OMG Greene King has finally made an IPA!

Mic drop.

Anyways, y'all know how I feel about Greene King on tap but they finally managed to impress me with this one. It helped that the pub was one I know that takes care of their beers rather than one that just doesn't sell a lot of ales. It was also FRESH on. Which can make a big difference in how a beer tastes.

Now as for the branding here. Ambiguous at best. What does the moose have to do with anything? Is it something to do with Canadian hops?
