Suffolk Craft Beer Review: Old Speckled Hen from Greene King

Old Speckled Hen from Greene King real ale bottle
Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's Suffolk craft beer review is for Old Speckled Hen from Greene King.

Old Speckled Hen was an amber beer. Malty with a bitter finish. Clove-y hops. Caramel and a bit spicy with cinnamon. Green caraway.

So the year is off to a fairly disastrous start. Only four new beers in the first two days and one of them had to be a BOTTLE beer at the pub. The landlord at our local decided to get drunk and not change the taps on the bank holiday. Thanks dick head.

That being said, I have had OSH on many occasions and have never bothered reviewing it. It isn't anything special really but it's not a bad beer. Certainly better than no beer at all!
