Yorkshire Craft Beer Review: Gingerbread Stout from Leeds Brewery

Yorkshire Craft Beer Review: Gingerbread Stout from Leeds Brewery real ale pump clip
Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's Yorkshire craft beer review is for Gingerbread Stout from Leeds Brewery.

Gingerbread Stout is a dark opaque red beer. Astringent and bitter with lots of tannins and molasses flavour. Thankfully and conspicuously lacking in liquorice which so many craft stouts have.

Definitely some ginger in there both in flavour and that drying mouth feel you get from dried ginger. Nice winter fruits in there of sloes, cranberry, and rowan.
