Somerset Craft Beer Review: Rebellion from Cottage Brewing

Somerset Craft Beer Review: Rebellion from Cottage Brewing real ale pump clip
Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's Somerset craft beer review is for Rebellion from Cottage Brewing.

Rebellion is a dark red brown ale. Up front malty and nutty astringent bitter of walnut pecan and maple. In the middle a softer fruity flavour of strawberry. Finishes quite toasty and malty with a hint of caramel. Really good strong bitter character. Had this the next day and this had really mellowed into and lovely rich fruity beer.

This was going to be an episode of Cask Ale Quicky Craft Beer Review on my YouTube channel but I have decided to rethink the format. There have been too many beers for me to realistically keep up with video reviews for them all. In the meantime check out my latest live beer review!
