Warwickshire Craft Beer Review: Ren's Pride from Church Farm Brewery

Warwickshire Craft Beer Review: Ren's Pride from Church Farm Brewery real ale pump clip
Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's Warwickshire craft beer review is for Ren's Pride from Church Farm Brewery.

Share It!

Ren's Pride is a medium amber beer. Up front quite malty and a bit boozy. Finishes quite sweet like a caramel with a touch of vanilla. Not my bag really. Too sweet.

Church Farm's pump clips are all in this same style. Brown background with an accent colour for the type, divisions, and animal silhouette. They also do three keg beers. This was the last beer I had in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Although it was a rather disappointing town for beer with lots of pubs selling Greene King IPA and very little else, we didn't get to try ALL of the places with a good beer selection. This one I had at a place called The One Elm. The other place to go is the Stratford Ale house which I talk a bit more about in THIS post. Places we didn't get to try were The Bear and Cox's Yard. If you know of any good places for beer in Stratford upon Avon please tweet @even_star.

This was going to be an episode of Cask Ale Quicky Craft Beer Review on my YouTube channel but I have decided to rethink the format. There have been too many beers for me to realistically keep up with video reviews for them all. In the meantime check out my latest live beer review!

The Beer in Review is a blog about craft beer and real ale. Keep up with new posts and contact me with comments and questions on twitter or YouTube. I'd love to hear about your craft beer adventures and recommendations from your home town.
