Yorkshire Craft Beer Review: Spring from Ilkley

Yorkshire Craft Beer Review: Spring from Ilkley real ale pump clip
Welcome to the Shed. I am even-star and this is The Beer in Review. Today's Yorkshire craft beer review is for Spring from Ilkley.

Spring from Ilkley is a gold beer. Upfront bitter and boozy and fruity with peaches. Very pleasant and refreshing with some citrus notes. A bit of dill and fennel.

So this was an oatmeal pale which was interesting. I have only had one of these once before. That was back in February in New Castle. Had seen lots of oatmeal stouts but had never seen a pale oatmeal beer before. If you hadn't told me I wouldn't have known with this one.
